INSIGHT Update Autumn 2022
The INSIGHT study continues to recruit well and has run smoothly over the summer, thanks to the help and generosity of our participants! In August, we reached the exciting milestone of recruiting our 100th participant. The team feels a huge sense of pride for this achievement. Moving into the Autumn, we have recruited almost 120 participants, with many of our participants having study visits completed on multiple occasions within the first 4 days after birth.
Over the past few weeks, we have been concentrating our efforts on improving colostrum and breast milk collection during study visits. We are increasingly able to obtain sufficient amounts of these precious samples for analysis and are eagerly looking forward to seeing the data generated.
The INSIGHT team would not be able to achieve any of this work without the support of our participants. We would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to each of our INSIGHT families – thank you!
